Athletics
At St. John Brebeuf School, the Physical Education Department offers an array of opportunities for students to grow and flourish. The department aims to create well-rounded individuals who are confident and able to work well in a team. Students will learn valuable teamwork skills while having fun and staying active by participating in activities like volleyball, basketball, badminton, and track and field within the MCSAA league. These sports also provide opportunities for students to participate in tournaments with other schools, allowing them to showcase their skills and compete at a higher level.
Athletic Opportunities:
- All Grades: Run Club
- Grades K-1: Swimming (value added program during school day)
- Grades 1-8: Wrestling (one of only two elementary wrestling programs in the province)
- Grades 1-8: Hockey (value added program occurring before school)
- Grade 3-6: Juggling Club
- Grade 4-8: Track and field
- Grades 6-8: Volleyball, Basketball, and Badminton, Soccer
